Butterbeer Cake

Hello everyone! Here is my first ever recipe! I wanted to make something simple. This cake is based off the drink from Harry Potter called Butterbeer. The drink was first introduced in the third book Harry Potter And The Prisoner  of Azkaban. Enjoy!

What You Will Need
One and a half cups of cups of cream soda
15.25oz Yellow box cake mix
3.4oz butterscotch pudding
1 cup of butterscotch chips
Frosting (Optional )
Butter cooking spray
Whisk or a hand mixer
A large mixing bowl
A smaller bowl
A rectangle pan

Step One
Preheat your oven to 350F. In your small bowl pour a little bit of cake mix  and your butterscotch chips and mix them together with your hands.  This will help distribute the chips later on.

Step two
Pour your cake mix and pudding and pour them in the mixing bowl then whisk them together.

Step Three

Pour in your soda and begin to mix. This can be done with a whisk but I prefer using the hand mixer.

Right after adding soda

Step Four
Add in your chips and remainder of cake mix. Mix until everything is combined.

Step Five
Now spray your pan with your butter spray and pour your mixture inside. Stick in the oven. It took about 35 minutes for mine to cook but I recommend sticking a fork, chopstick, or a toothpick in the center . If it comes out clean your cake is done.

Step Six
Give your cake time to cool. You can add some frosting if you want but I will warn you the cake is pretty sweet on it's own. Serve and enjoy!
