Jiji Cup

Sorry this is late! I've been a bit sick. I still don't feel to good but I really wanted to get this posted up.
A long time ago before I knew what anime was I already was obsessed with anime. I loved watching Pokemon and Sailor Moon on TV. My favorite movie was Kiki's Delivery Service. This movie still holds a special place in my heart. I even named one of my cats Jiji.
This cup is inspired by a scene in that movie. This does require a little bit of drawing and painting but don't worry too much. If you mess up with the permanent marker it can be washed off. Then just take painting it slowly.

What You Will Need
A White Glass Coffee Cup
Black Glass Paint (Regular acrylics will NOT work)
A Permanent Marker
A Paintbrush

Step One
Draw out your design using the permanent marker. I used a reference picture I had found online.

Step Two
Paint the designover the image you drew. If you need to do multiple layers of paint make sure your paint is dry. Also make sure your cup has dried for about an hour before moving on to the next step.

Step Three
Bake your cup. You'll want to follow the instructions on your paint. Mine was heated up for 30 minutes at 350F. You'll want to turn on the heat after the cup is in the oven and let the cup cool down in the oven. Any sudden temperature changes could cause your glass to break.

My cat Jiji.

I hope you guys like this! It is my first time posting a craft tutorial up here! If anyone tries this feel free to show it off here or post over on the Facebook fanpage.

Unpopular Opinions Book Tag

Hi guys! Today I thought I would try a tag I saw on YouTube the Unpopular Opinions Book Tag. Please remember these are just my opinions and they are not meant to be an attack on what you like.
Spoiler Warning: There is a small spoiler for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows mentioned. If you never read that book you may not want to read this list.

1. A Popular Book or series that you didn't like.
The Hunger Games. I just never could get into it.

2. A Popular Book or series that every one else seems to hate but you love.
I don't know if I'd call it popular but Midnighters is probably the only one I can think of.

3. A Love Triangle where the main character ended up with the person you did NOT want them to end up with (warn ppl for spoilers) OR an OTP that you don't like.
Ron and Hermione in Harry Potter. I really don't mind that they got together but I always hoped they wouldn't.

4. A popular book Genre that you hardly reach for.

5. A popular or beloved character that you do not like.
Louis from Interview with the Vampire.

6. A popular author that you can't seem to get into.
Stephanie Meyer.

7. A popular book trope that you're tired of seeing. (examples "lost princess", corrupt ruler, love triangles, etc.)
The love triangle does bother me because often times there's no story outside of the love triangle or even worse is there is a set up for a really great story that never gets told because the book is to focused on a forced love triangle.

8. A popular series that you have no interest in reading.
The Mortal Instruments

9. The saying goes "The book is always better than the movie", but what movie or T.V. show adaptation do you prefer more than the book?
I honestly can't think of any. Sorry!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! If you want to see anymore tags in the future let me know!

Blue Milk Milkshake

Hello everyone! It has been too hot to cook anything. So today I'm giving you recipe that doesn't involve cooking and it's a milkshake. A Star Wars milkshake!
In Star Wars there is blue milk wich is bantha's milk. Luke can be seen pouring it in A New Hope. I wondered if there was a way to make it for the blog without just simply saying dye milk blue. This recipe is really simple and the only tool you really need is a blender.
When it comes to milkshake it's hard to give exact measurements simply because everyone likes their milkshakes different. If you want a thinner milkshake just add more milk and if you want a thicker milkshake add more ice cream.

What You Will Need
1 cup of milk
2 cups of ice cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
10-15 drops of blue food dye

Step One

Add your milk and ice cream to the blender and mix.

Step Two (Optional)

Add more milk or ice cream to make your milkshake thiner or thicker if you need to.

Step Three

Add your vanilla and blue dye to the blender. Blend until your milkshake is blue

I hope you guys enjoy this recipe even though it's a bit simpler then what I usually do. Also I have decided I want to try to start posting recipes on Friday. Let me know what you think.
